As the name implies, this garden is planted with nothing but lilacs. The garden features over 155 varieties that are on display during the month of May. They also sell over 50 varieties of lilacs in 5-gallon containers. The garden is open to the public, free of charge in April, May and June; Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4pm. Visitors are advised to call ahead as they sometimes close for special events.
Situated in southern California between San Jacinto and Palm Springs, this park features hiking trails, campsites, picnic areas and a visitor center. Dogs are not permitted in wilderness areas of the California State Park System.
Located in Southern California, east of Los Angeles, the San Bernardino National Forest features a wide selection of activities for visitors. Spend time in nature hiking, fishing, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, hunting or sightseeing. This area was established in 1893, the area also welcomes camping and riding off-road vehicles.
