The Sycamore Inn is more a restaurant than a notable building but it is no ordinary restaurant. The historic building dates to 1848 and, as an inn and tavern, has served tired travelers in the 19th century, movie stars in the 20th century when the dirt road that originally fronted the building became Route 66, and now diners in the 20th century who are hungry for the restaurant's signature prime rib.
