The Thomas Winery is no longer a working vineyard but is designated California Historic Landmark as the oldest commercial winery in California and the second oldest in the United States. Today, the Wine Tailor operates in the old Thomas Winery building and features a tasting bar and the opportunity for customers to make their own labels or personal vintages.
The Joseph Filippi Winery and Vineyards has been producing fine wines since 1922 and has won over 200 awards for its wine-making excellence. The family-owned winery features a gift shop and wine tasting room, which are open daily, as well as guided winery tours, which run Wednesday through Saturday afternoons. Facilities also available for private tastings, receptions and special events.
